Maury Argento, BS, CMT
As an athlete herself, Maury has a strong understanding of the joys and frustrations associated with competitive sports. She grew up very active as a competitive swimmer, soccer player, lacrosse player, and middle-distance track runner. In college she ran track and played club soccer, later in the Army she competed on the All-Army Soccer team and has continued to play soccer recreationally. Maury has managed adult soccer teams and coached girls’ soccer for the past two decades and continues to be extremely active, exploring the Bay Area with her husband, daughter and two vivacious pups. Her passion is helping people to enjoy using their bodies to live the life they love.
Maury believes that massage therapy is a critical component to healing, and with years of experience as an athlete, soldier, coach, and fitness trainer, she has a personal perspective on its amazing benefits. Maury combines her background as an athlete as well as her training in biology, physiology, biomechanics, and robotics and multiple modalities (including: deep tissue massage, trigger point release, active release therapy, cupping, lymphatic drainage, and others) to provide a holistic approach to healing.
