Dr. Megan-Marie Delegas PT, DPT, PNc1

Dr. Megan-Marie Delegas PT, DPT, PNc1 is a Lifestyle Physical Therapist (PT) and Nutrition Coach. She received her undergraduate and Doctoral education at Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts in 2014, and her Precision Nutrition coaching certification in 2019. Throughout her education, she worked in Boston’s renowned medical hub, within various PT settings, ranging from Intensive Care Units (ICU), orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation settings, to outpatient sports and geriatric clinics. After graduating, she moved from Boston to San Francisco for a bit of adventure and began working in outpatient multidisciplinary settings until she found herself branching off and starting her own business.

Over the years outside of her career, she has participated in various sports and practices like soccer, dance, distance running, yoga, meditation, crossfit, olympic weightlifting, and high-intensity interval training. In those times, she found herself yearning for a better understanding of her overall purpose. It led her to evaluate herself in her entirety and realized how much her inner self affected her physical self. As a result, her career naturally gravitated to its own version of PT focusing on lifestyle.

She now works with health conscious populations in a scope beyond injuries. In addition to traditional PT care (see services), she also addresses sleep, nutrition, stress, mindfulness, fitness goals, etc. and discusses strategies for making improvements. Due to the broad scope of her practice, she may see clients once a week, once a month, or in a long-term digital capacity. In partnership with corporate and fitness companies, she also provides different levels of coaching services through an online system ProCoach.

Because health is more than just physical, Megan-Marie firmly believes that cultivating better health must come from an internal willingness, as well as through a collaborative and communicative way. She hopes to empower her clients and the population as a whole by educating them and practicing what she preaches.

Dr. Jow and her team of sports medicine trainers and physical therapists have been critical to my continuing recovery. The  consistency of care has been so important.
